As keen as I am for the new Neil Marshall directed Hellboy reboot, I do still wish we had gotten to see a Golden Army sequel to wrap up Ron Perlman's trilogy. Here director Guillermo del Toro lets loose all bars on his fantasy elements, stacking the movie with elves, trolls, even tooth fairies, making for a less grim, but still very good Hellboy sequel. Not to mention it features personal favourite Luke Goss in what is probably his best role to date.
Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal. A personal favourite.
