A film I have only recently discovered, and very much enjoyed, made in 1994,(copyright year on the end credits), it stars Horror Legend Linda Blair, and a fine fellow Cast who all give a good performance, a mix of horror film, thriller, and Erotica, (a few nude scenes), the story works, and as a professional in the industry myself, for almost 50 years, (I started as a Child Actor) for me I loved the technical style of the film, at around 50 mins in there is a beautifully shot sequence of Actress Rochelle Swanson in a doorway bathed in blue light, a room with one of the most minimal, simplistic sets ever on film, (a four poster bed, draped in black sheets, with net curtains on each post flowing in a breeze,a few well placed candles, and two well placed lighting spots,(I "adored" the set decoration here), and the action of the 3 Actresses will appeal to many I am sure, and OK I liked it too, but honestly the film was well made, and has a beautiful musical sound track too, I bought the CD straight after watching the film having found it for sale brand new on ebay, and it has the same cover art and photos and plenty of info on the film on the fold out Cover of the Soundtrack album, I ADORE Horror, and this one has become a firm favorite of mine, as it blends all aspects very well, soft erotica, with a Witchcraft theme, some decent bloody make up effects, and visually beautifully shot, and nice score,(If you enjoy Debussy, and soft melodic music),For me it was one of those films that while not great in the obvious way, has that something which makes you love it and your not really sure why, but if you enjoy, a horror theme, and a bit of blood, and nude girls,or appreciate film set decoration, lighting and camera work, like I do, then I recommend it as worth a watch, and you to might fall under it's spell, my personal rating a healthy 8 out of 10, (5 out of 5 Stars) on this site, the reason being the Cast,Story, and presentation are all done very well.
